These cups are engraved with the monograms "LC" and "MP", for Lore Cohn and Max Pagener. The LC cup was used by Eleanor (Lore) Cohn for Shabbat and holidays. At the time of Eleanor's engagement to Max Pagener, her parents made a duplicate cup for him. The beakers were used at their wedding ceremony at the Temple in Munster, Westfalia on April 10, 1924. This date is inscribed on the bottom of each cup.
